Ron Paul: too much of an adult for america

if you read the thoughts of Ron Paul, congressman from texas, you will recognize that he is so full of common sense and discipline and how debt and borrowing and lack of savings, etc. , are destroying america, then you will quickly realize why his fellow politicians dislike him. if anyone seeking public office suggested that 'mericans live within their means and be against wars and arrogance and that being spoiled is not a Right, well then he would certainly not win an election. Now as i look over all of the candidates so far, for 08, i see a giant MOTS and so if americans want more war, and a dollar that continues to buy less each day, and a group of people that seek the opinions of the lowest common denominator, then these candidates are perfect. We as citizens will once again get what we deserve; but after dubya, one would hope we would have learned a very hard lesson and that is to run away in fear of all these presidential seekers-----------lopez

The Pause That Refreshes

i get the feeling Hillary Clinton will add a new dimension to the 08 race that will spread to all of the candidates. when speaking, there will be brief pauses after each thought so that a very fast controlled poll can be taken that can relay info to the speaker so they know which thought to present next and to what degree of intensity----this will truly be wonderful as all of the candidates will always be in tune with all citizens and no one will ever be off of the Mark------in fact, it just does not get any better than that-----someday it will not be the person in control but whoever controls the info from the polls----ah yes, knowledge may be king or queen?---lopez

Go Dubya

just saw cate blanchett in Elizabeth, 1998, very good------and just heard that 20 killed today in iraq-------and if dubya had been in charge of WW II ??????? and congress continues to posture....ah yes, we continue as human beings to progress----ain't it grand?------lopez

Ah So

evan thomas of newsweek and author of "sea of thunder" on book tv---very fascinating book ---and in the question part of the presentation, the statement is made that the initial invader or attacking country rarely if ever has ended up victorious-------maybe someone should call dubya-----lopez

Historical Accuracy

Hey-- i keep hearing them on cnbs say that "do not sell a dull market"-------well, the actual saying was reputed to be from jesse livermore and/or bernard baruch and it goes like this: "never sell a dull market in a bull market; never buy a dull market in a bear market." you and i know that these markets world wide are by and large being run by out of control arrogant young people who have never ever seen the Bear and have never ever had to deal with any real truth. (like dubya)----and listening to ben bernanke this a m i was fascinated that i know much more about what the hell is going on than the senators and my knowledge is about a 5 on a 10----discouraging---lopez
