lopez sees GM earnings and they are announced with "excluding charges"----now what does that mean? oh, i see, these earnings are earnings that exclude charges-----lopez likes that----dubya does this when he talks of usa gdp as it excludes DEBT--cool----and with the USA budget, the charges for the iraq/afghan war are "excluded" or not included----really cool----and just like the nyse and the sec let fanny may and freddie mac and anyone for that matter, well, they let them pass with no financials at all which to lopez is the ultimate as in FORGET CHARGES----it is a brave new world out there and of course just like the mortgage market, this whole USA is now a place of DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL--------------lopez pausing to laugh
