tied for the lead--yes--dubya and mugabe

both dubya and mugabe today got their new Surveillance laws passed and now are still neck to neck for "Leader of the Decade"--The USA Senate, anxious to get out of town, told dubya, do whatever you want and we'll leave you our power of attorney as we are in a hurry to hit the beach--MOTS-- Also, dubya will TELL the HOUSE to also pass this damned thing or stay in town--of course the little housies will fold quickly----And , some wisdom from 1787,a Scottish history professor, Alexander Tyler: "...a democracy is always temporary as it exists up until voters discover over time, that they can vote themselves power and generous gifts from the public treasury.
Then, the majority will vote only for those that promise the most and ask of them, the least. The result is a collapsed democracy due to out of control fiscal policies. A dictatorship always follows..." Lopez wonders why it seems that all of the smart people are dead???
