The Russians had 150,000-175,000 troops in Afghanistan and lost---also read about the British fun in Afghanistan---and remember, Russia's economy was failing and then between Paul Volcker and Afghanistan, Russia went broke....see any similarities???? and they did not even have dubya as their leader..Beware the lure of war.....
