Bush has ruined America with Debt; so how did he do it?
Hola. Reagan was president and ran up debt but no problem because Paul Volcker had squeezed all the shit out of USA economy and Russia was at war in Afghanistan and between war costs and Volcker and Reagan's spending, Russia went broke. (Here I must slip in GHW Bush and point out that Reagan and daddy george had, like Dubya today, they had put the business world on the autobahn and the S&L crisis was the result so billy also had a cleaned-out economic system that made things much easier for him--see following)
Then along comes billy boy Clinton and he made it look easy because the wind was very strong and always at his back because again of Volcker but also, after the 1987 crash, AL Greenspan, fed head, began doctoring the economic numbers so they looked better and put a lid on cost of living increases; also the tech revolution came out of the garages and into wall and main street and for the first time in forty plus years, the cold war was over. so Clinton was maybe the luckiest president ever as it was all a cake walk until he fucked it up with Monica.
So then comes cocky, arrogant, super spoiled and in his mind, blessed-by-god, George W. Bush, and he thinks the Ferrari is great and he can spend all he wants with anything he wants including war and he also puts corporate America on the autobahn. Of course for political reasons he yells "low taxes" but the dumb-dumb never did shit about spending and so spending went into the stratosphere and borrowing became the game and borrowing spread everywhere and became a goal and a way of life and it is now slowly suffocating the US government; the US financial system and the US citizens. And dubya and his men, all the king's men, have no fucking clue what to do.
So, that's it amigos, drink up and relax because there is not one damned thing one can do. The Decider is really the destroyer, and between debts and war and lies, the Bush-Karma is destroying the USA and the world. And as little dicky Cheney famously said in the 2000 campaign, "Debt and deficits do not matter." Words to remember.
