potus), and the near miss with the cuban missile crisis and one must admit the bay of pigs fiasco was equal to any of dubya's military heroics-----i think the greatest contribution of jfk, et al was jackie paving the way for julia child and jfk talking of ian fleming as in jimmy bond----lopez speaks his mind

so senor lopez, how did you know that the iraq war invasion was a stupid idea? well, it was simple, there was no exit strategy---lopez knows from marriage that getting in is easy and fun but getting out is a bitch (no pun)---anyway, in another life, lopez was having dinner with the manager of the Kahala Hilton in Honolulu in the Maile Room and this was at the exact same time president marcos (Phillipines) had been exiled---so the Marcos people wanted to rent the top two floors of the hotel and pay 10 times the normal rates plus large non refundable wad of cash----but the hotel boys decided NO----wow----why? well they said No because they asked a simple question: what if we want Marcos to leave the hotel? what in hell could we do?? now that to lopez is the classic Exit strategy and one all of us marrooooons should always remember------lopez back in time
